Preparation
We begin by scrubbing the deck with a biodegradable wood cleaner and brightener. Using this chemical cleaner allows for a deep clean that opens the pores of the wood and brings out its natural color for staining.
Staining
After the wood has time to dry, we come back to apply the stain. We carefully edge around the house and utilize stain pad applicators to ensure a smooth, even coat of stain across the wood.
Know Your Stain
We work with all kinds of stain finishes and opacities. The most common stain option is semi-transparent. For more weathered decks or those with previous stain, solid color stain becomes a great, economical choice.
